On our trip up to Washington State, we drove down to Anacortes and took the ferry out to San Juan Island. If you’re ever up there, you have to take that ride. There are lots of little islands out there and some beautiful scenery. Friday Harbor is located on San Juan Island and is quite the tourist...  Semiahmoo is a spit of land that connects to the far end of Drayton Bay in northwest Washington State. I believe this was once a shipyard. The tracks you see leading into the water were probably used to slide ships and boats into the bay. These days, the warehouses here are used for kayak rentals...  Here’s another super low tide shot from Birch Bay in Washington State. I spotted this little boat bobbing in the water at high tide the previous afternoon and I though the color made it a worthy photo subject.
