Had some nice glowy sunlight this afternoon and I was desperately looking for some way to take advantage of it. We had these daffodils sitting in the kitchen so I grabbed them and set them up in the backyard. I decided to shoot into the sun to try and create a little mystery in the background. I really like the depth of field created by the Nikon 50mm opened all the way up to f/1.4. Again, I used one of Dirk Wuestenhagen’s beautiful textures and I think it added some cool style and a nice subtle green tint.
